Tah-Dah! You are 9 months old.

I am sad about seeing you grow up so fast but also really excited for the new things happening right now. You really know how to make us all laugh.

You dance to every song that's playing and dance even when we are in silence.
You wave every time someone says hi or goodbye.
You scream Mama or Papa when you are upset.
When someone asks you if you love them you shake your head saying no.
Greeting grandpa and dad everyday with excitement (cue heavy breathing, bouncing and moving arms up and down)
You laugh just to show your teeth because you know everyone thinks its adorable.
You like random T.V. commercials that have music on them and you stop doing whatever is keeping you busy at the time, open your little eyes and just stare.
Diaper change is starting to get really annoying for you. You'll kick and scream and turn around as soon as the pants are off.
You like drinking apple, pear and peach juice and refuse to have your formula during the day. Also, you like eating crackers, rice, bread, home made butternut squash soup courtesy of dear grandma, yogurt, and refuse to eat chicken or meat.
You still dislike bananas.

You are having a hard time with strangers and demand to be attached to my hipbone for the first 5 to 10 minutes.
You like our little dance parties.
Bath time with daddy is fun until you get out of the water and have to be dressed. Oh, the drama.
You went from sleeping all night to waking up 2 times. Thankfully you drink your bottle half asleep (You should get some sort of badge/price for that) and go right back to sleep.
You officially can't be left alone for more than 1.5 seconds.
My guess is that all that juice you have (8 ounces though out the morning + 4 in the afternoon + 2 around 4 or 5 pm) is making you hyper because you like laughing 24/7 and can't stay still.
You are curious about eyes and feet and tattoos.
You know how to take out the wipes and can't get enough of that.
Still HATE the doctor.
Love spending the weekends with daddy.

Up to last week you showed no sings of wanting to crawl. Instead you just liked being standing up with grown-up's help and would get in a terrible mood if someone tried to sit you back down.
This week though, you are becoming better at pushing yourself forward and staying face down longer.
You are more confident and curious.
When you get asked 'guess who is here' you understand that someone just arrived and look immediately to the door waiting for someone to show up.
You like Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn, Angelina Ballerina, Milly and Molly, Edward Shape and the magnetic zeroes (way too much if you ask me) and Sponge bob's credit song.
Still like mirrors and laugh staring at yourself when we pass by one.

So for all this reasons and much much more baby, we are proud of you and can't wait to see you grow up just as pretty as you are now.
Happy 9 months Baby A!
